From 1 May 2005, if you want to automatically download CORS base data in the GPS Pathfinder® Office software or the GPS Analyst™ extension for ESRI ArcGIS, you must apply a software update for your software, and download the latest base station list.

This document provides an update on the status of the WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) satellites, including the FAA’s expected timeline for the second new WAAS satellite (PRN 138) to be set as operational, and for the older WAAS satellites (PRNs 122 and 134) to be decommissioned. GPS Pathfinder Pro XRS Receiver: Incorrect Firmware Version

An incorrect firmware version was installed on a number of Trimble GPS Pathfinder Pro XRS receivers that were shipped after November 2005. Units with this firmware version cannot use the integrated satellite based augmentation system (SBAS) signals (WAAS / EGNOS) for real-time corrections. This Support Note explains the issue and how to resolve it.

GeoExplorer Series Handhelds: Connecting the Receiver to Trimble Mapping & GIS Field Software Through the Serial Clip

If you use a serial clip to connect the GPS receiver in a Trimble GeoExplorer series handheld to a datalogger, such as a laptop or a PDA, that is running any the following software; TerraSync v2.50, GPS Analyst extension for ESRI ArcGIS v1.10, GPS Pathfinder Tools v2.00, or GPScorrect extension for ESRI ArcPad v1.10, you must change the GPS Connector settings from TSIP Standard to custom settings of 38400, 8, 1, Odd. This Support Notes explains the changes required.
OmniSTAR AF-SAT (Central + South Africa) Satellite: New Frequency and Data Rate

Resolving the NAD 83 Datum Transformation Issue

The current realizations of the NAD 83 and WGS-84 datums differ by up to a meter. An error can be introduced by assuming that they are the same. Trimble GPS Analyst Extension— Digitized Point Features in ArcPad Are Not Displayed in ArcMap

This document describes how to resolve an issue where digitized point features collected with ESRI ArcPad software and the Trimble® GPScorrect™ extension for ArcPad are not displayed in ArcMap after the data is checked in using the Trimble GPS Analyst™ extension for ArcGIS software. Although the features are in the attribute table, only point features that are linked to GPS data are displayed in ArcMap. Digitized line or area features are not affected.

El problema radica en que éstas no son visualizadas en ArcMap después de importar los datos con la extensión Trimble GPS Analyst™ para el software ArcGIS. Aunque las características están en el árbol de atributos, sólo se visualizan en ArcMap las características de punto que están vinculadas a los datos GPS. Las características de línea o área digitalizadas no son afectadas.
