(MGIS_SprtNote_GPScorrect_Antenna_Height.pdf - 254 KB)
The Trimble GPScorrect extension for the ESRI ArcPad software logs GPS position data to a Trimble SSF file. Many of the ESRI ArcPad software settings are used by the GPScorrect extension to ensure the correct positions are logged. This support note recommends that you always set the antenna height in meters in the ESRI ArcPad software so that the GPScorrect extension can correctly read this value.
Installing GPScorrect on a GeoXT or GeoXM running the CE .NET Operating System
(SprtNote_GPScorrect_CENET.pdf - 90 KB)
The GeoXT™/GeoXM™ revision 2.00 operating revision is based on the Microsoft® Windows® CE .NET 4.2 operating system. When you install GPScorrect™ for ESRI® ArcPad® 6.0 onto a GeoXT or GeoXM handheld device that is running the CE .NET operating system, you must use version 1.01 or later of the GPScorrect software. If you try to install GPScorrect version 1.00, you will receive the following error message and you will be unable to install GPScorrect: Win CE does not support the current version of the Software.
This document explains how to resolve this issue.
