GeoExplorer 3 & 3c firmware version 1.04. Self-extracting file. Optional velocity filtering of real-time positions and improved map performance. Fixes problem with continued features in v1.02. Fixes other problems in v1.02.

GeoExplorer 3/3c - Data Transfer Utility Fix (English)

This file fixes known problems with Data Transfer and the GeoExplorer 3/3c. Symptoms of the problems are:

Inability to download a data file to the computer collected using the Continue function (nesting)
-
Inability to download a data file to the computer collected using certain data dictionaries
-
Inability to upload a data file to the Geo 3/3c which contains a certain data dictionary
-
An error message when opening certain data dictionaries for viewing or editing on the Geo 3/3c.
To correctly install the patch use the following procedure

Close Data Transfer
-
If you have GPS Pathfinder Office v2.51 then save this file into the folder called C:\Program Files\Pathfinder Office 2.51, ensuring that you overwrite the existing file of the same name.

If you have GPS Pathfinder Office v2.70 then save this file into the folder called C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Remote Device Manager, ensuring that you overwrite the existing file of the same name.

Start Data Transfer, and transfer any affected files again.

Russian & German Language Files available for the GeoExplorer 3 and 3c.

To install on the GeoExplorer 3 use GPS Pathfinder Office Data Transfer to connect to the GeoExplorer 3

Select 'Send' Tab

Select Add/Other
-
Browse for the .lng file you wish to send and select Transfer all

On the GeoExplorer 3 configure the new language in SYS/Setup/Configurations/Formats/Language
