Trimble Battery Driver Patch (Pocket PC 2003)
(Trimble Battery Driver Patch.zip - 353 KB)
The Trimble® Recon™ handheld may incorrectly display a low battery warning, giving the impression that the battery is performing poorly. This may be caused by operating the device in cold temperatures, or using CompactFlash cards that have a high current draw, such as GPS or 802.11 cards. To resolve this problem, install this driver patch. Once installed, the battery driver patch decreases the battery voltage value used to trigger a low battery warning, increasing the amount of time before a warning appears.
Note: This patch does not change the voltage value used for the critical battery warning.
