Dial String Editor (Windows Mobile 6)

If your mobile carrier requires you to enter a custom dial string to connect to the internet and you have a GeoExplorer 2008 series, Trimble Nomad, or Trimble Recon handheld running Windows Mobile 6, you will need to use the Dial String Editor to enter the the custom dial string. v1.01 - GPS Pathfinder Pro series/GeoExplorer 2005 & 2008 series/GeoBeacon receiver - Radio Activation Manager

The GPS Pathfinder Pro series and GeoBeacon receivers are shipped with Bluetooth wireless technology activated. The GeoExplorer 2005 & 2008 series is shipped with Bluetooth and WLAN technology activated. Download this desktop application to deactivate or reactivate the wireless radio in your device. Bluetooth and WLAN type approvals are country specific.
Notes:
This application replaces the Bluetooth Activation Manager previously used for the GPS Pathfinder Pro series and GeoBeacon receiver.
You may need to deselect or disable serial COM port checking in the Microsoft ActiveSync application, or in other applications, to successfully connect to the GPS Pathfinder Pro series, GeoExplorer 2005 & 2008 series or GeoBeacon receiver with the Radio Activation Manager application.
This application does not support GeoExplorer versions prior to the GeoExplorer 2005 series.

v6.0.1 is the Microsoft Windows Mobile version 6 operating system for the Trimble Recon handheld.
If you have a Trimble Recon handheld that is running Microsoft Windows Mobile version 5.0 software you can purchase an upgrade to the Windows Mobile 6 operating system.

v6.0.1.2 - Trimble Recon, Operating System Patch (Windows Mobile 6)

The v6.0.1.2 patch should be installed after the v6.0.1 operating sytem has been installed or after a Trimble Recon handheld running Windows Mobile 6 has been reset to factory settings.

The v6.0.1.2 patch resolves an issue where the handheld may not be able to connect to wireless access points using wireless LAN.

Nomad Series
Trimble Nomad Series - SatViewer Application

The SatViewer application comes pre-installed on the Trimble Nomad Series handhelds (800L, 800LC, and 800LE models only). Installing the application manually is only required when you have hard reset your device. To install the SatViewer application do the following:
Download the SatViewer.cab file to your computer.

Copy the SatViewer.cab file from your computer to the My Documents folder on the handheld.

On the handheld navigate to the SatViewer.cab file using File Explorer.

To run the CAB file, tap the SatViewer.cab file.

The message SatViewer.cab was successfully installed on your device appears when the installation is complete. Tap OK to dismiss the message.

Satellites
SBAS.INI

Contains the list of SBAS satellites, including the two recently launched WAAS satellites - PRNs 135 and 138.

Required when using Custom mode in Trimble field software to select particular satellites to track, and exclude from the tracking list.

Contains the list of frequencies used by satellite DGPS providers.

Use the GPS Pathfinder Office Data Transfer utility to load this file onto your device running TerraSync.

If you have GPS Analyst installed on a PC, copy this file into the folder C:\Program Files\Trimble\GPS Analyst\Bin.

If you have GPS Controller, GPS Pathfinder Controller, GPScorrect, or an application developed using the GPS Pathfinder Tools SDK installed on a PC, copy this file into the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Config.

If you have GPS Controller, GPS Pathfinder Controller, GPScorrect, or an application developed using the GPS Pathfinder Tools SDK installed on a Windows CE or Pocket PC device, copy this file into the folder \Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Config. This folder will be located on the Disk or in RAM depending on where GPS Controller, GPScorrect, GPS Pathfinder Controller, or your application developed using the GPS Pathfinder Tools SDK is installed.

If you are using Asset Surveyor download this version of SATDGPS.INI and use the GPS Pathfinder Office Data Transfer utility to load this file onto your device.

TerraSync Updater Utility
(Updater Setup.exe - 10197 KB)It is recommended that you download and install the TerraSync Updater Utility. This utility allows you to update your v3.2x software with any new updates. The Updater Utility should be run periodically when you are connected to your device running TerraSync and when your PC is connected to the internet. The utility will inform you when new updates are available and assist you to update your TerraSync software.
